Full day discovering Ouzoud Waterfalls

Introduction
Visiting the spectacular Ouzoud waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains provides an enjoyable day out, escaping the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh city. The waterfalls are located close to the village of Tanaghmeilt, in the province of Azilal, approximately 158km north of Marrakesh. It has been described as one of the most breath-taking views of the natural flow of water in North Africa. The surrounding area enclosing the waterfalls provides a relaxing and uplifting atmosphere for travelers to enjoy during their hike.
Itinerary
Around 8 am meet at your accommodation in Marrakesh and start our journey drive to Imi n’Ifri. Once reaching the area, your hike begins with the sightseeing of the impressive natural bridge known as Imi n’Ifri, 6.5km southeast of Diamante, a walled market town. The formation of the bridge crosses the gorge which was formed with the result of the collapsed cave system within this area. The walk provides the traveler a short rest as you enjoy the view and bird watching; Choughs and swift are commonly seen in the sky.
The next part journey (65km) takes you to Ouzoud where there is an option to enjoy the area independently or with a local guide. As you move towards the siting of the waterfalls, you observe the river that flows downstream forming the torrent of water. The final destination reaching the pools of water at ground level. At every level during your hike provides stunning views of all features of natural flowing of water. Additionally, the district of Ouzoud provides plentiful places to enjoy lunch and traditional mint tea. Boat rides are provided at the lower pools which provides thrills of entering close to waterfalls. In the past years, the trip has been a positive and enjoyable for all age groups
