Mule trekking

Off the beaten track takes travellers through the remote villages of the Atlas Mountains.  In order to explore the natural beauty of these areas, mules and donkeys are used as a form of transport.  Historically, in these regions the mules were the primary used by the local people for transport of food and agricultural goods from the market place.  Today, the animals still serve this purpose and also are used as tourist vehicles to allow travellers to explore the deeper hidden treasures of these mountainous regions.  Over the years, they’ve become a fun and exciting activity for young children thus becoming a very memorable experience for many families visiting the Atlas Mountains.
